Description

Tyler Technologies is seeking a Product Manager to support the growth and rollout of our Tyler Interactive Reporting solution. You’ll work with product groups across Tyler to understand and document their requirements for operational reporting and business intelligence, and work with the Interactive Reporting product team to prioritize and deliver industry-best reporting capabilities for Tyler line of business systems.

Responsibilities

  • Work with product groups across Tyler to develop a deep and detailed understand of their current reporting landscape, client needs, and key business requirements.
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex requirements or novel user needs and propose clear technical solutions to customer reporting problems.
  • Shadow implementation teams for early adopter clients across Tyler to proactively identify gaps or issues that may impact client success.
  • Lead product development process and work closely with DevSecOps, architects, and QA to ship high-quality releases on cadence. 
  • Use telemetry and customer interviews to refine features and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years focused on Reporting, Business Intelligence, or analytics, 2+ years of product, program or project management or similar skillset.
  • Familiarity with common operational reporting tools like SSRS, JasperReports, Crystal Reports.
  • Ability to perform detailed analysis of current state solutions for other solutions, including analyzing reporting artifacts, SQL and database structures, and complex client configurations.
  • Comfortable defining metrics, instrumenting telemetry, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Proven effectiveness presenting and preparing artifacts for leadership & strategic conversations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills; able to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Required to undergo and satisfactorily pass a fingerprint background check in accordance with CJIS requirements.

Nice to Have 

  • Prior direct experience building operational reporting capabilities or specific reporting assets for public sector clients.
  • Background in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government) with high compliance demands.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI / LLM tools for analysis and research.
