Responsibilities 
        
Shamrock Trading Corporation is looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join the HR team. This role is responsible for accurately communicating and clarifying HR processes and policies to company personnel, as well as assisting in the organization of team functions. An ideal candidate is familiar with Human Resources and an effective problem solver. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel 
  • Provide support to employees in various HR related topics such as leaves, vacation, benefits etc. and assist with first tier employee inquiries and questions 
  • Plan, prepare, and implement weekly employee onboarding 
  • File and maintain I-9 forms for all employees, including E-Verify registration 
  • Maintains all personnel records in both electronic and paper forms (including filing) 
  • Files and filing, while assisting with daily information updates 
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential 
  • Promotes HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace 
  • Implement employee recognition programs and awards 
  • Oversee company intranet updates 
  • Assists with Wellness initiatives 
  • Maintain the job description database, ensuring all are up to date 
  • Assists organizational charts and requests as needed 
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form (including filing) 
  • Assist with various HR projects 
  • Performs other related duties and projects as required and assigned 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field 
  • 2+ years in HR Coordinator role 
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures 
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws preferred 
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems will be a plus 
  • Excellent communication and people skills 
  • Aptitude in problem-solving 
  • Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Primarily on-site presence required
