Responsibilities
Ryan Transportation and Shamrock Trading Corporation are looking for an Operations Support Representative – After Hours. This operations position is responsible for the after-hours operational management of Ryan Transportation loads including tracking and tracing, internal and external communications, status updates, and other customer service duties to ensure the highest level of customer and carrier satisfaction. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a critical thinker, and problem solver with a high level of attention to detail.
- Manage and respond to inbound calls and emails in all aspects of customer service
- Conduct routine follow-up calls as directed by Carrier Sales and Account Management representatives
- Maintain records through timely and accurate system updates
- Provide timely and efficient updates to Account Managers as new information arises
- Utilize active listening skills to gather necessary details and anticipate potential issues
- Coordinate logistics activity including issue resolution, communication between carrier operations, customer operations, and sales
- Track and trace orders for each load in our system and complete all load-related paperwork
- Shifts can be customized, but must be able to work the following schedule requirements:
- 3 weekday shifts from the hours of 3:00PM-12:00AM and 2 weekend shifts from 8:00AM-5:00PM
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in a proactive operations and customer service environment
- Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills to meet customer needs and communicate results
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Detail orientated with analytical and technical skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
