The Consulting Services Organization
Qlik Services are all about accelerating the success of our customers, partners and employees. We provide the training, support and consulting needed to successfully develop, deploy and use Qlik. 

How you will spend your time as our next Qlik Cloud Consulting Manager

Qlik is searching for a Qlik Cloud Consulting Manager with broad and deep knowledge of cloud services, security, and automation, along with strong communication skills and consulting services experience.

In this role, you will work with senior internal and external stakeholders alongside enterprise architects and cloud consultants to undertake discovery, design and hands-on implementation of solutions that are secure, reliable, and scalable to tens of thousands of users.

Qlik Cloud Enablement

  • Manage a team of 4-6 cloud consultants
  • Lead the way in building the expertise and best practices for deploying and migrating to the Qlik Cloud.
  • Work closely with Product Management, R&D, Presales, Customer Success and the Qlik Enablement team to define the Professional Services needs required to take our customers to the Qlik Cloud and SaaS offerings.

Manage Delivery

  • Fulfil trusted advisor role for a set of defined customers, managing long-term customer relationships from pre-sales through project completion, and securing follow-up projects/extensions.
  • Ensure quarterly team and personal utilization targets are met.
  • Provide efficient management, oversight and coordination capabilities of the implementation throughout engagements and projects with a team of consultants (employees, partner resources and subcontractors)
  • Weekly plan and follow-up on team, quality delivery and revenue projection.

Services Sales

  • Support sales activities that generate new and renewal Qlik Cloud bookings.
  • Qualifying and developing value-add propositions for Enterprise clients and prospects.
  • Manage the customer relationship(s) from initial discussions to support closing of the deal.
  • Present implementation offerings to existing customers and new prospects.

Lead Consultant Role

  • Provide leadership for key account delivery engagements to ensure that Qlik best practices are documented and implemented. Assign project tasks to consultants on our key engagements. Act as escalation point for difficult technical issues encountered during implementations.
  • Provide guidance on project technical directions to Qlik implementations projects and its members.

You will be successful if you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience mandatory; Master’s equivalent preferable.
  • Analytics and business intelligence industry experience
  • Hands on experience designing and deploying complex solutions in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or other cloud providers;
  • Demonstrated abilities with SSO-related software such as Azure AD, ADFS, SiteMinder, OpenSSO, Auth0, Okta or other SAML & OpenID Connect providers;
  • Ability to travel 40% of the time.
  • Business level Englishmandatory
  • +5 years in a consultancy position working with business intelligence and Cloud software solutions.
  • +2 years Qlik development experience.
  • Goal orientation and a track record in managing Enterprise accounts for delivery and growth
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills. 
  • Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Extensive experience in managing prospective and existing customers both on and off-site.

 You will thrive if you have

  • Familiar with auto-deployment of Windows and Linux-based software;
  • Experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) technologies;
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation;
  • Experience with deployment and configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet, and Ansible;
  • Experience with Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery or other cloud data warehouses;
  • Knowledge of clustering, fail-over and disaster recovery products and concepts such as MS Clustering Services, Load Balancing, Routers, LUNS, SAN and NAS;
  • Familiarity with server hardware selection, design and troubleshooting
