The Procurement Analyst Role

 

As a Procurement Analyst at Qlik, you'll play a pivotal role in negotiating contracts, facilitating the contracting process, and performing crucial analysis to drive efficient procurement operations.

 

Focused on Indirect procurement categories such as IT, marketing, and services, you'll engage directly with internal stakeholders, negotiate supplier agreements, and track sourcing events to ensure optimal business outcomes.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

 

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand supplier requirements and provide support throughout the procurement process.
  • Negotiation Skills: Lead supplier negotiations, utilizing both direct/verbal and indirect/email channels to secure agreements aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Contract Management: Apply contractual terms and conditions, conduct spend threshold analysis, and compare supplier proposals to drive optimal outcomes.
  • Savings Tracking: Track and report on sourcing events, negotiations, and savings achieved, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Support: Attend stakeholder meetings to provide assistance to category managers across the business, contributing to successful procurement initiatives.
  • Documentation: Maintain and update procurement documentation using contract management systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

 

We’re looking for a teammate with:

 

  • Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Required Experience: One to two (1-2) years of related experience in Procurement, Analytical or Supply Chain role.  IT industry experience preferred but not required.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and data analysis.
  • Experience using procurement and contract management systems.
  • Knowledge of supplier onboarding processes.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to plan tasks, assign resources, manage progress, manage change.
  • Strong negotiation, collaboration and communication skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret qualitative data.
  • Problem solving attitude and aptitude.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Quick learner, inquisitive and motivated individual.
  • Customer service focused.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and multitask in a flexible, fast-paced and challenging environment.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $72,500.00 MIN – $80,000.00 MAX. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package.
