Senior Financial Analyst – Marketing Pipeline Analytics

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team within Nutanix is a small high energy team providing finance partnership to business leaders across all functions. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a high impact team in a rapidly growing organization. We provide analysis to support strategic decisions, conduct financial reviews of a wide range of business issues and manage financial processes such as planning, forecasting, reporting and tracking performance. 

We are seeking a highly motivated professional with exceptional analytical skills to join us as a Sr. Financial Analyst covering marketing pipeline analytics. This individual will focus on maintaining/developing global sales pipeline reporting and sharing key analytical insights with senior management to diagnose pipeline health and remediate potential gaps.

The role requires intense analytical rigor to thoughtfully construct pipeline models and databases, as well as to extract strategic insights to help improve pipeline quality and accelerate topline growth. Moreover, it requires immaculate attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership of the numbers that are presented to senior executives on a weekly/quarterly basis.

The successful candidate will not be afraid to dive into organizing tough and complex datasets, has relentless curiosity to ask tough questions, has superior analytical and 'big data' skills, can work under pressure, and is comfortable communicating insights in a concise way.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve the pipeline models to forecast pipeline generation & conversion on the weekly and quarterly basis
  • Partner closely with data science team and business intelligence team (some who reside in APAC), to develop pipeline datamart and automate pipeline reporting on Tableau platform
  • Assist in the development of global strategy initiatives by structuring complex problems, performing thorough analyses, developing compelling solutions and presenting recommendations

Required Skills/Experience

  • Expert proficiency with Excel with experience building models
  • High degree of comfort with large data sets; understanding of database fundamentals
  • Self-starter with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Great verbal and written communication skills with all levels of management, and key business partners.
  • Prior experience in Tableau and SQL, is a plus
