The Opportunity

This is a hybrid role where the ideal candidate will have a Project Management and Business Analysis background in the hybrid multi-cloud Technical Support space. The role includes hands-on project ownership from initiation – to – delivery, encompassing the responsibility for scoping, requirements defining, managing, and completing all defined project tasks and deliverables in an efficient and timely manner. An ability to think on your feet and manage several projects or programs at once is a must, as well as being a proactive problem solver. Nutanix is a hybrid-first organization with our Support teams being onsite at least 2 times weekly. This position would be based in Durham, NC.

Nutanix Worldwide Support is a global organization providing 24/7 support in over 150 countries in 20 different languages. We are proud of our 96+ CSAT rating and an average NPS over 90 for the last 10 years, but we are never satisfied. We strive to learn, innovate, and continuously improve. We are looking for a Support Project Owner to join the WW Support Project Management Office as a core member of this high-performance team that will work with Nutanix leadership to plan, organize, prioritize, and execute our most strategic global projects and initiatives.


Your Role

  • Manage Support related projects and programs end-to-end oversight and delivery
  • Facilitate and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to develop project business and solution design requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple Support related projects and programs in parallel
  • Collaborate with SME’s to develop test plan, cases, and execution while overseeing UAT
  • Manage, document, and report on project and program progress including: critical gaps and remediation plans to Stakeholders and Sponsors
  • Determine KPI’s and Performance Analytics to measure project and program success
  • Review open incidents and enhancement requests while communicating priority and clear direction to dedicated teams to ensure timely delivery of changes
  • Develop a strong working relationship with all internal and cross-functional team members to help define and understand scope, requirements, technical changes, and deployment strategies across Support and Nutanix

 


What You Will Bring

  • Comfortable with influencing and communicating with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent understanding of SDLC relevant to Support projects and programs delivery
  • Clear understanding of Support processes, workflows, and systems
  • Ability to define change management and communication plans that align with initiatives delivery
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to direct project team members across the globe without direct-line authority
  • Sound project management and awareness to involve all relevant stakeholders and key decision makers where necessary
  • Love of technical product topics, emerging hybrid multi-cloud technologies and platforms, program management and design
  • Provide extensive business analysis expertise to oversee business requirements capturing and signoff
  • Ability to be the voice of WW Support within Nutanix and cross-organization discussions
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Education, or related field required with 7+ years experience

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 112,080 and USD $ 224,160 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
