We here at the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) are seeking a remote Events Specialist to collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and members to provide logistical support in the execution of virtual conferences and programs.

What you’ll do
As our Events Specialist, you’ll use your logistical expertise to oversee NACE’s virtual annual conference and expo along with other signature virtual programs. As a driver of virtual events, you’ll work with cross-functional teams in managing the registration process, sponsorship fulfillment, and digital event technology. Day to day, you’ll:
  • Create and manage project plans, schedule of events, planning process, and logistics for virtual meetings & events
  • Manage the process and implementation of our mobile app for in-person and virtual meetings & events
  • Provide support for webinar production, including scheduling, technical run-through, and speaker management
  • Manage the distribution of virtual event pre- and post-materials
  • Oversee virtual conference and program evaluations, data, and post-event reporting
  • Coordinate with Marketing to develop Sponsor Prospectus, sponsor, exhibitor, and attendee newsletters, advertisements, and other communications
  • Work with Business Development to plan for and identify branding & advertising opportunities, oversee fulfillment agreements, and sponsor & advertiser requirements for virtual events
 
What you need to thrive in this role
  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, education, business, non-profit management, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in virtual event planning, technology, and project management, preferably at an association or non-profit.
  • Digital Events Strategist (DES), Certified Exhibits Manager (CEM), Certified Association Executive (CAE), and/or Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) certifications preferred.
  • Advanced PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office, social networking sites, survey-writing packages, with knowledge of Zoom events and webinars, LMS, and CRM systems preferred.
  • An open mind that looks to continually improve, willing to share new ideas
  • Adaptable and ready to tackle the challenges that come with event planning and project management
  • This role is fully remote. You’ll have the ability to work from almost anywhere, though preference will be given to those in the Eastern or Central time zones.

  • Competitive salary in the range of $58,000 - $62,000/year
