Custom Laminating Corporation is seeking an experienced Night Shift Supervisor to join our team in Mount Bethel, PA in our world-class, modern manufacturing facility making custom-designed products with worldwide applications.

This role will work Monday-Thursday night from 6 pm-6 am. Occasionally, Friday nights may be needed depending on production. Training will be during the day shift for the first 1-2 months before transitioning to overseeing the night shift. 
   
What you’ll do
As our Night Shift Supervisor, you’ll lead a team of 18-20 employees in two departments, ensuring that production schedules are adhered to, downtime is minimized, and employees are supported. You’ll also oversee successful changeovers and communication between night and day shifts, boosting employee morale, and encouraging cross-training. Day to day, you’ll:
  • Oversee and monitor night shift operator and machine productivity by providing training, direction, guidance, and counseling 
  • Work alongside HR to make personnel decisions on hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations, and promotions 
  • Regularly evaluate processes providing suggestions for improving safety, efficiency, and accuracy 
  • Solicit and encourage team members' feedback on processes, procedures, and equipment improvements 
  • Accurately manage departmental timekeeping system via Paylocity HRIS system 
  • Conduct wage and performance evaluations 
  • Ensure effective communication at all levels within the organization 
  • Maintain safe working conditions, procedures, and practices on the assigned shift 
  • Foster a positive shift culture and company reputation within the community 
 
What you need to thrive in this role
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years in a manufacturing supervisory role
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Oral and written communication skills with the ability to gain trust, engage others, and influence outcomes
  • Highly self-motivated with exceptional follow-up and attention to detail
