What You’ll Do
As a Housekeeper, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our spaces are spotless and ready for all activities. Your responsibilities will include:
As a Housekeeper, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our spaces are spotless and ready for all activities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Housekeeping Excellence: Daily cleaning of common areas like the dining room, parlor, library, stairwells, windows, curtains, blinds, bathrooms, and more. You'll utilize the appropriate chemicals, and also manage cleaning supply inventory, and keep supply closets organized and stocked.
- Safety First: Report any maintenance or safety issues and actively participate in safety committee meetings.
- Learning Center Support: Sanitize classroom toys and supplies daily using a Zono Machine. Clean kitchen and bathroom areas, organize the gym and stage and manage laundry needs on site.
- Shelter Program Collaboration: Work closely with our team to ensure rooms are clean, safe, and welcoming for families in need. Inspections and cleanings of kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas. Participate in annual refurbishing of shelter rooms and common areas.
- Event Support: Be the go-to person for event setups and teardowns, ensuring everything is in place for memorable gatherings

- Experience: 1+ years in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel or residential facility
- Knowledge: understanding of cleaning equipment and chemicals, including operating the Zono machine
- Excellent communication skills: are a must, we are a communicative team! Bilingual candidates preferred
- Skills: An understanding of confidentiality and resident-centered practices, can work both independently and as part of a diverse team, the ability to work with at-risk populations, and a keen attention to detail
- Physical requirements: Must be able to climb and descend stairs and stand for long periods
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
