What we offer

If you are looking for a position that provides an opportunity to apply your superior client service and organizational skills within a fantastic team-oriented environment, this is the perfect role for you!

As a representative of the Mattamy Homes Design Studio, the Home & Style Associate will provide excellent customer service and assistance to homeowners during Open House hours while striving to provide The Best Homeowner Experience. Home & Style Associates are required to work Saturdays & Sundays (9:30am – 6:30pm).

 

What you’ll do

  • Offering excellent customer service and assistance to homeowners during browsing hours.
  • Providing tours of the Design Studio while pointing out features and available options.
  • Assisting with colour selections, identifying customer needs in style and individual requirements and answering design related questions.
  • Accepting payments and processing paperwork.
  • Ensuring samples are tidied up and placed in appropriate locations.
  • Provide support to Home & Style Associate team. 
  • Completing a weekly check of product inventory.
  • Assisting the Design Studio Merchandiser in labeling and re-organizing the products

 

What you bring

  • Minimum high school diploma required.
  • Strong customer service (CS) background with prior experience in a CS role.
  • Interest and flair in colour and design.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Computer literacy with experience in MS Office applications.
  • An outgoing personality with the ability to greet and address individuals, in a professional manner.
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written. 
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Required hours of work are Saturdays & Sundays (9:30am – 6:30pm).

 

Bonus Points

  • Completion or enrollment in an Interior Design, Interior Decorating and/or Architecture diploma or degree program would be considered an asset.

 

Compensation

The expected wage range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00 per hour. Actual pay may vary depending on your job-related knowledge, competencies, and skills.
