What we offer
As a Project Coordinator, you'll support a wide range of project functions, including cost reporting, shop drawings, site instructions and RFIs, change orders, trade contracts, estimating and tendering, schedule updates, and meeting and field documentation.
What you’ll do
- Follow and consistently demonstrate Stelumar's Core Values.
- Support contract administration across assigned projects – quantity take-offs, budget validation, tendering, and information flow between stakeholders.
- Maintain and circulate monthly project cost reports; track N.O.C., Change Order, and back-charge lists.
- Process sub-trade draws, progress draw reports, holdback releases, deposits, and bonds; assist the PM in validating draw and extras requests.
- Process, track, and coordinate approvals for shop drawings, SIs, and RFIs with consultants and the PM; maintain project network files and field office documentation.
- Prepare trade scopes of work and quantity take-offs; process trade contracts and draw requests; complete trade performance reviews and support estimating and value engineering.
- Monitor and update project schedules; keep stakeholders informed of delays and revisions and assist the PM in resolving scheduling issues.
- Schedule and attend project meetings (start-up, site, budget, bid closings); prepare and distribute meeting minutes.
- Coordinate with trades, consultants, and field staff on documentation, submissions, and timely reporting (receipts, time sheets, field reports) to accounts payable.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you bring
- Construction degree or diploma from an accredited college or university (or equivalent working experience).
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multi-task.
- Motivated, with integrity and a positive attitude; works well independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
- Flexibility to adjust core working hours, as required.
- Valid Class G driver's license for travel to other offices and construction sites, with the ability to perform field tours and inspections on an active construction site.

Compensation
The expected base salary range for this position is $57,500 - $87,500. Actual pay may vary depending on your job-related knowledge, competencies, and skills. We recognize that exceptional situations may fall outside this range, and we encourage all interested candidates to apply.
You are also eligible to participate in Stelumar’s annual bonus program which gives you the opportunity to increase your total compensation if business and individual goals are achieved.
