What we offer

Join a forward-thinking team redefining prefabricated cabinetry and millwork. As a Cabinetry Designer, you’ll turn plans and product requirements into layouts, drawings, 3D models and production-ready orders — initially focused on catalogue development, product configuration and order accuracy, with room to grow into detailed cabinetry design. You’ll work across design, manufacturing systems and sales support, helping define product options, materials, finishes and ergonomic requirements.

What you’ll do

  • Translate plans, blueprints and product requirements into cabinetry layouts, drawings and 3D models that meet functional, aesthetic and manufacturing requirements.
  • Maintain and expand the catalogue of offerings (collections, finishes, option sets, configuration rules and pricing) in POS/CPQ and ERP systems, and manage how they're named, grouped and presented across showrooms, specifications and digital selling tools.
  • Develop elevations, cross-sections and product arrangements, and maintain accurate design-library and reference data.
  • Manage order entry end to end: enter, validate and release orders and change orders from customer selection through production release.
  • Support sales, showroom and design studio teams by answering product and configuration questions, resolving order issues, and delivering product and system training.
  • Advise on materials, colours, finishes, lighting and ergonomics.
  • Apply industry trends, emerging technologies and product innovations to improve design quality, catalogue clarity and order accuracy.
  • Ensure designs and catalogue offerings meet manufacturability, quality, compliance, schedule and budget requirements.
  • Other duties as required.

What you bring

  • Post-secondary education in design, drafting, interior or industrial design, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in design, drafting, catalogue, or product configuration work.
  • Working knowledge of CAD or 3D modelling software, with the ability to learn new design and configuration tools quickly.
  • Ability to translate blueprints, shop drawings and technical specifications into design and product parameters.
  • Experience with order entry, POS or CPQ systems, including quoting, configuration, pricing or product setup. System administration experience is an asset, not required.
  • Understanding of cabinetry and woodworking manufacturing, including materials, finishes, hardware and construction techniques.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail across multiple orders, selections and catalogue items.
  • Customer-facing or sales-support experience explaining product and configuration decisions to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrates integrity and a commitment to high-quality work, with strong collaboration, communication and relationship-building skills across cross-functional teams.

Bonus Points

  • Experience supporting showroom, dealer or retail environments, including product display and merchandising.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Mozaik, 20/20, CNC programming or similar software.
  • Experience with CPQ, ERP or PIM platforms, product catalogues or pricing rules.
  • Experience in a roboticized or automated manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with building codes and occupational health regulations.
