VP Talent Promoter Financial Services
The primary function of the LHH Talent Promoter is to facilitate landings of LHH candidates into new job opportunities in the Talent Promoter’s Financial Services Industry vertical. The Talent Promoter partners closely with the local Recruiting Specialists to build our national network of contacts within the hiring community to provide a conduit to our LHH candidates into Industry Talent Pools.
•This includes developing working relationships with Senior Talent acquisition managers/recruiters at top client organizations in an Industry vertical nationally
- Serving as an internal recruiter recruiting resource to facilitate the placement of candidates
- Ideally the Financial Services VP Talent Promoter will be located in NY or a minimum the Northeast Region
Reports directly to SVP , Career Transition Practice
Accelerate the job search process for our candidates by using our Search & Match and Wanted Analytics and all other forms of technology to position our expertise in matching candidates to jobs nationally
Fully understand the talent requirements at targeted organizations to become a working partner in providing recommendations of LHH candidates.
Establish a rapport with talent acquisition senior management becoming a trusted resource for referred talent.
Have broad and deep knowledge of all organizations in the Financial Services industry; make presentations to talent acquisition teams to position LHH as a primary provider of talent.
Solicit large-scale job openings from recruiters and hiring organizations and help to match open positions with active candidates and conversely, use data to provide hiring trends and talent pool availability to our clients
Represent LHH as a Talent Placement Expert in our LHH presentations and at local and National events
Host National Recruiter and Employer Spotlights within their Industry Vertical and capitalize on our network of recruiting specialists and consultants to ensure candidates are invited to these events
Ensure Talent Acquisition is aware of our ongoing Industry Virtual Career Fairs to connect candidates to jobs and the hiring community
Be an expert with all technical and digital resources to serve as a marketer and educator in the Hiring Community to build awareness of resources to be exposed to our Talent Pools of candidates in their Industry Vertical
Actively solicit job leads for major projects and/or large volumes of candidates
The Talent Promoter will build close relationships with our sales drivers and client organizations and will serve as a talent conduit to facilitate “talent swapping” as organizations navigate through workforce transformation initiatives.
This role is highly visible within the LHH organization, and the individual must be able to represent the LHH brand in sales presentations and client meetings.

Specific Duties - External Focus (70%)
Develop relationships with senior level talent acquisition professionals within the leading national companies within the Financial Services Industry
Work in close concert with LHH SWAT Team members and Business Developers in developing and strengthening relationships with national Financial Services employers
Represent our POV on Workforce Management and Innovation in national and SWAT sales presentations to key prospects and established customers
Develop networking contacts among Retained Recruitment firms and by cultivating our Executive and ICEO alumni who have landed in key positions to grow our talent pools and talent reputation
Gather intelligence from hiring managers and network resources
Establish resources and systems to provide market information, trends, companies entering and exiting the market area, etc.
Join and play a visible role in national HR and other business associations and attend national events
Serve as a Subject Matter Experts regarding Redeployment and Workforce Transformation in the Financial Services Vertical
Internal Focus (30%)
Partner with LHH Sales Drivers in building our Talent Market Place
Market and company research – business trends, client needs, monitor news sources and other market intelligence, mine the alumni database
Proactive gathering of current job leads appropriate for the National client population and connect executives with senior-level roles
Five years of professional-level business, staffing, human resources, recruiting, or placement experience preferred preferably in a client-facing/sales capacity
Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills
Technologically inclined and adept at all forms of social media including research-type tools
Excellent business development and relationship management capabilities
Ability to serve a national client base and present to the most senior levels within an organization
Ability to work independently and be responsive to a high volume of client and hiring professionals’ requests
Excellent knowledge of employee recruiting practices including Internet recruiting
Willingness to travel
Solution-based consultative sales presentation skills and experience
Independent, proactive, naturally curious leader who actively shares information with others at all levels
Talent Promoter Key Performance Indicators:
- Develop relationships with national talent acquisition teams within the Financial Services industry vertical
- Work in close concert with LHH SWAT Teams and Sales Drivers in developing and strengthening relationships with National Financial Services employers
- Develop networking contacts among hiring managers, recruiters, national/international retained and contingency employment firms, LHH alumni and other appropriate sources
- Join and play a visible role in national talent acquisition associations including serving in a Board capacity
