The Role 

Here at EZRA, a Propositional Strategist is responsible for understanding areas of improvement within a proposition and then drives these ideas forward. 

Our team collaborates cross functionally to manage functions that span our current propositions and execute high-impact initiatives. We work incredibly closely with our broader Impact Labs teams and Product & Tech  as well as all of our other functions in creating high quality products that delight our customers. 

Taking direction from the Director of Propositions, this role will include new product enhancement, analytics ownership (e.g., defining key business metrics, performing in-depth analysis to answer important questions about product trends/business performance), driving process implementation and improvement, and facilitating business operations (e.g. orchestrate business reviews).   

What you’ll do 

  • Provide solutions to an existing proposition and collaborate cross functionally to drive forward enhancements. 
  • Scope and evaluate incremental growth opportunities to accelerate our  customer growth by leveraging key insights gained through research and data analytic
  • Working alongside Prop & Strat PMO to execute on identified workstreams to grow the proposition’s performance
  • Responsible for the overall enablement of propositions, ensuring that each function is aligned to understand product enhancements as well as operational delivery.
  • Develop ongoing GTM collateral of propositions as well as support on business review documentation (Strategic Memos, Business Revies, Pipeline Updates)
  • Provide strategic direction to the Digital Product team to build and launch propositional features
  •  Working with Product Marketing to design and develop campaigns based on direction provided from Director of Prop & Strategy
  • Working with Rev Ops & Enterprise Delivery to understand the health and performance of the proposition.

About you 

  •  5+ years of relevant experience delivering business strategy, go-to-market and/or product recommendations in an strategic role, consulting firm, or HCM tech ; MBA a plus
  • Strategic and critical thinker capable of solving difficult challenges using consultative and data-driven analytical approaches.
  • Proven proposition manager experience, capable of collaborating with several key partners throughout the organisation to execute core strategic goals and generate clear business impact
  • Strong presentation skills and knowledge of financial modelling (e.g., Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides guru) are required.
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities and a willingness to work proactively with cross-functional teams across the company.
  • Building decks, modelling data, documenting roadmaps, and demonstrating written and verbal communication skills in large cross-functional meetings with executive leaders are all required.
  • Ability to deal with uncertainty, collaborate with internal and external connections, and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strong active listening abilities, especially the ability to recognise and isolate the complaints or objections of clients.
