ABOUT THE ROLE
We are entering into a new phase of growth at LeoVegas after being acquired by the global entertainment leader MGM Resorts International. Hence, we are looking at gearing up the organisation with A-level people with the right attitude and skill set that can help accelerate growth.
As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be a strategic partner across several teams within our global group and work with many facets of the business. The projects coming your way will vary but often relate to Product and Brands expansion. Therefore, being structured, knowing how to synthesise large sets of qualitative and quantitative data, and presenting in a concise and C-suite-ready format are all crucial skills.
This is a chance to join the Product Strategy team, which works directly under LeoVegas’ CTPO.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Identify and drive cross-functional and complex projects across the iGaming value chain. This includes delivery of market expansion projects and other strategic initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop presentations and carry out pre- and post- launch analysis that will subsequently be presented to our owners (MGM Resorts International).
- Inject strategic and innovative thinking to key business challenges across multiple departments and jurisdictions by structuring problems, defining plans of action, and bringing them to life.
- Be hands-on and ensure that projects are delivered, initiatives undertaken and that we prioritise our efforts correctly.
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Minimum 5 years of experience in developing company strategies, but also operationalizing them – i.e., having a solid understanding of the entire strategy cycle of a company where you have been working on highly ambiguous projects with multiple stakeholders and close partnership with C-suite
- Experience from consulting, banking or similar, including great skills in PPT and Excel and a habit of presenting data to management
- A structured and data driven approach to problem-solving, including clear problem statements, working hypothesis-driven, doing root cause analysis, and delivering synthesised recommendations with clear action points.
- Academic degree with a master’s degree – in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects , good time management with a strong understanding of value creation and fluency in the financial lingo
- Self drivenness with a challenger mindset but with a highly collaborative style in team environments and humble attitude
NICE TO HAVES
- iGaming experience is considered a plus but experience in digital businesses is crucial.
