CATCHING MAINTENANCE TECH

POSITION SUMMARY:  The Catching Maintenance Tech is responsible for servicing and repair of the live haul equipment with an emphasis on forklifts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Services all the live haul forklifts.  Oil changes, weekly greasing, bills out parts on completed repairs.
2. Daily repair of the forklifts.
3. Washes the forklift, track, equipment trailer and truck of all manure and dirt to maintain the highest levels of bio security.
4. Repairs safe zone units and weekly garbage.
5. Helps back up personal repairing mods and track.
6. All other duties as required.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS and BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid drivers license is required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, 100 pounds with assistance.
• Considerable ability to climb and wash the equipment.
• Considerable ability to work outside during all seasonal conditions and in the dark, dirty conditions.
• Considerable skills in communication with shop employees and drivers including reading and writing English.
