The Business Intelligence Manager at GoHealth’s is a critical role that combines technical expertise with strategic thinking. This position requires a professional with a proven track record in delivering actionable insights and driving data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will possess advanced skills in SQL, ETL, data visualization tools (such as Tableau, Quicksight), and statistical/machine learning software (e.g., R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab). 

Position Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sr. Director of Enterprise Data & Intelligence on refining the current BI strategy based on the changing needs of the business, then execute that strategy
  • Use data collection tools and established statistical methods for data gathering, analysis, and interpretation to derive actionable insights for business decisions
  • Utilize advanced statistical methods to solve specific business and industry-related problems. 
  • Plan and document data file structures, develop, program, manage, and maintain complex statistical databases
  • Compare and analyze provided statistical information to identify patterns, relationships, and problems
  • Prepare detailed reports for management and other departments by analyzing and interpreting data, and effectively communicating findings
  • Participate in a culture of continuous learning and development within the team
  • Partner with the Sr. Director of Enterprise Data and Intelligence on establishing strong working relationships with key stakeholders in Revenue Cycle, Finance, People, Marketing, IT, and Operations to understand their data requirements and provide analytical support

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 7+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience, including 1-2 years managing people
  • Expertise in SQL, ETL, and proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Quicksight, etc.)
  • Working experience with statistical/machine learning software (R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience working with very large data warehousing environments.
  • 5+ years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT, repo 
  • EPIC or Other EMR systems
