The IT Employee Lifecycle Coordinator plays a critical role in managing the technical aspects of employee transitions.  This includes ensuring new hires and existing employees changing role are setup with the right technology to perform their job.  It also includes ensuring secure and efficient off-boarding. This role requires collaboration with IT, HR, and other departments to ensure a seamless and positive experience for employees throughout their journey with the company.  You will work in a matrixed environment and coordinate with other corporate support departments to create an effortless end user lifecycle experience as employees join, transfer, and depart GoHealth
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
 
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
 
Work Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in IT/HRIS
  • Strong technical knowledge of end user computing technologies, including Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, and mobile device management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is a plus.
Required Licenses/Certifications

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred    
  • Familiarity with healthcare IT systems, compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA), and the unique security challenges in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Workday

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 Technical On-Boarding Management:

  • Collaborate with IT and HR to develop a comprehensive technical on-boarding program, including hardware setup, software installation, and system access.
  • Ensure that new hires have the necessary equipment (laptops, monitors, peripherals) and software licenses on their first day.
  •  Coordinate with IT to create user accounts, email addresses, and access to internal systems.
  • Develop and maintain a robust orientation program that covers IT policies, security protocols, and key technical tools.
  • Monitor the technical on-boarding process, gathering feedback to continuously improve the experience.

Technical Off-Boarding Management:
  • Coordinate with IT to ensure a secure and compliant off-boarding process, including deactivation of user accounts, email, and system access.
  • Work with IT to recover company equipment and ensure proper data backup and erasure.
  • Conduct technical exit interviews to identify areas for improvement in IT-related processes and security.
  • Maintain compliance with data protection regulations and internal IT security policies during off-boarding.

Employee Experience Enhancement:

  • Develop and maintain resources related to technical on/off-boarding, such as checklists, FAQs, and user guides.
  • Work closely with IT and HR to ensure clear communication and a seamless employee experience during transitions.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends in IT security, hardware, and software to continually enhance the technical on/off-boarding processes.
  • Provide training and support to managers and HR team members on technical aspects of on/off-boarding.
Reporting and Analysis:
  • Track key metrics related to technical on/off-boarding, such as time-to-setup, system access, and equipment recovery rates.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and reducing security risks.
  • Report findings to senior management, along with actionable recommendations for enhancing the technical on/off-boarding experience.
