GoHealth Urgent Care has partnered with Nuvance Health,
 one of the nation’s largest health care provider and private employer throughout the Hudson Valley, NY and Fairfield County, CT regions. The partnership provides patients with greater access to innovative urgent care through state-of-the-art technology and unique patient access tools, such as online registration and appointment scheduling.
We are looking for a progressive and entrepreneurial Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner  for an Advanced Practitioner Lead (APL) role.   

This is a fulltime Urgent Care Lead position that will be divided between (75%) Clinical Care and (25%) Administrative responsibilities:
Clinical:  Provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections. Functioning in lieu of or alongside of a physician, it is essential for an urgent care Advanced Practitioner to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary.   
Administrative: Perform a wide variety of administrative tasks including: AP leader on the clinical leadership team, EMR training and efficacy, procedure/skills training, customer experience training, daily clinic staffing/scheduling, and implementation of special projects and initiatives. In-clinic mentoring, real-time observation and direct feedback to APP’s will be expected.  Lead AP, along with clinical leadership team, will assist with schedule management, chart review, patient quality/satisfaction initiatives, cover assigned Medical Director duties during sick-leave or PTO, and any other administrative duties at the discretion of the Medical Director. Lead AP will be active member of clinical leadership meetings and collaboratively disseminate best practices to all providers and staff. Qualified applicants should have the ability to listen, gather information, validate data, communicate effectively,  and have strong customer satisfaction skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree required
  • Minimum 12 months experience in an Emergency Department / urgent care or similar clinical environment required
  • Adult and pediatric practice experience required
  • Prior Administrative responsibilities preferred
  • National Certification (PA/NP), Active state medical licensure, Active state DEA, ACLS/BLS/PALS

**Pay Range: $83/hour - $104/hour (experience-based range) , plus Daily Volume Bonus paid monthly based on patient visit metrics met per shift (to reward those who work at the busier centers) and Annual Leadership Bonus
