Manager, SW Engineering - UI
Description
- Lead and manage a team of 7 to 10 UI developers, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Oversee the front-end development process, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and project timelines.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to understand project requirements and translate them into actionable development tasks.
- Manage the allocation of resources, balancing workloads, and prioritizing tasks to meet project objectives.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with the overall architecture, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in front-end development, and incorporate them into the team's workflow.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and professional development.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in a UI development role, leading a team of 7 to 10 developers.
- Hands-on experience in front-end development, with expertise in React and other front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) will be a plus.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience working in an agile development environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve results.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
