As the Sr Data Analyst, you will need to visualize data and analytics to provide insights into the leadership on the impact of strategic initiatives using key metrics. This role will involve working predominantly with sales, product, and marketing data across numerous customer touch points, developing capabilities tied to year-over-year growth, target attainment, renewal rates, and moreAdditionally, you will be executing deep quantitative analysis and building predictive/machine learning models to drive sales strategy.  
  
What You’ll Do: 
  • Business Intelligence & Reporting:  
    • Design and maintain Tableau dashboards to provide actionable sales, channel, marketing, and product insights to streamline reporting to leaders throughout Gigamon.  
    • Automate operations and train analysts and business users on data tools and dashboards.  
  • Data Infrastructure & Migration:  
    • Contribute to the strategy and architecture of the Snowflake data lake that will feed Tableau 
    • Assist with the migration from Azure to Snowflake, Power BI to Tableau, and Excel to Tableau, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal performance of all dashboards.  
  • Analytics & Insights:  
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze data and guide strategic priorities.  
    • Build attribution models, performance metrics, and customer journey maps to track impact.  
  • Data Strategy & Predictive Modelling:  
    • Manage data modelling, ETL processes, and optimization initiatives.  
    • Develop predictive models and machine learning solutions to improve customer acquisition and retention.  
  • System Optimization & Governance:  
    • Identify bottlenecks, enhance data pipelines, and ensure data health and accessibility across teams.  
    • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to align data infrastructure with business goals and ensure governance best practices.  
  • Training & Collaboration:  
    • Lead Snowflake and Tableau adoption through workshops and documentation.  
    • Foster collaboration across teams to promote data-driven decision-making and insights.  
  
What You’ve Done:  
    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Math, Data Science/Analytics, or Business Intelligence.  
    • Advanced skills in data visualization via Tableau.  
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in modern enterprise data architecture and analytics.  
    • Proficiency in SQL, with familiarity in big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) preferred.  
    • Extensive hands-on experience with predictive modeling and machine learning using Python, R, or Java.  
    • Experience with Salesforce CRM.  
    • Experience tracking, analyzing, and visualizing data for subscription-based businesses at Networking and/or Security companies, such as year-over-year growth, target attainment, renewal rates. 
  
Required Skills & Qualifications:  
  • Technical Expertise:  
    • Proficiency in Tableau, SQL, Snowflake, and Azure. 
    • Experience with Power BI and Excel dashboard migration to Tableau, ETL processes, and data modeling.  
    • Knowledge of attribution models, segmentation, and predictive analytics.  
  • Analytical Skills:  
    • Ability to track and enhance sales, channel, and marketing performance. 
    • Strong data interpretation, statistical analysis, and optimization skills.  
  • Project Management & Collaboration: 
    • Effective collaboration with sales operations, sales, marketing, IT, and data teams.  
    • Experience leading dashboard migration/creation, data migration, and lifecycle projects.  
  • Soft Skills:  
    • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.  
    • Focus on data governance and process improvement.
