This hybrid position is open to candidates located in Dallas, TX or those willing to relocate to this city.
The BDR Team Lead role is a player-coach position, balancing individual sales contributions with mentorship and leadership responsibilities for the BDR team. This position is based in our satellite office in Dallas, TX and serves as a critical steppingstone to a BDR Manager role for high-performing leaders.
 
The Team Lead will be responsible for lead generation, pipeline growth, and opportunity qualification, while also coaching and guiding junior BDRs. The role involves close collaboration with Regional Sales Directors (RSDs), Channel Teams, Marketing, and Sales Enablement to drive new business opportunities.
 
 
What you’ll do:  
  • Player-Coach Leadership
    • Act as the primary BDR point of contact for the Dallas satellite office.
    • Lead by example by actively prospecting and setting high-quality meetings.
    • Provide day-to-day coaching and professional development for the BDR team.
    • Conduct weekly 1:1s, shadow sessions, and performance reviews to support team growth.
    • Help drive BDR onboarding and training initiatives.
    • Track BDR performance and ensure alignment with team goals.
  • Pipeline & Sales Execution
    • Use phone, email, and digital outreach to engage potential customers and drive interest in Gigamon solutions.
    • Qualify leads and schedule high-value meetings for RSDs.
    • Own and track personal and team sales activity metrics within Salesforce.com.
    • Support and optimize MQL follow-up strategies for increased conversion.
    • Partner with Field Marketing on event follow-ups and lead generation initiatives.
  • Sales & Tool Proficiency
    • Encourage BDR participation in contests, spiffs, and campaigns to drive motivation.
    • Leverage tools like 6Sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo for targeted prospecting.
    • Stay up-to-date on Gigamon’s product roadmap, industry trends, and competitive landscape
 
 
What you’ve done:  
  • 3+ years of experience in Business Development, Inside Sales, or Lead Generation.
  • Proven ability to consistently hit and exceed targets while mentoring others.
  • Strong experience in IT networking, security software, or SaaS sales is preferred

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
  • Ability to operate independently in a remote setting while fostering a team environment.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and sales prospecting tools.
  • Must be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to grow into a BDR Manager role
 
 
The base salary + commission compensation range targeted for this role is expected to be between $66,500- $83,000 (subject to terms and conditions of the plan). This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices.
