Sr. Account Executive / TOLA - SLED
Description
- New Business Development: Identify, engage, and close new logo opportunities to expand our customer base.
- Account Expansion: Drive growth within existing accounts by uncovering new use cases and increasing solution adoption.
- Consultative Selling: Understand customer needs, present tailored solutions, and position our offerings as essential to their success.
- Pipeline & Forecasting: Maintain an accurate pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring consistent forecasting and deal progression.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to optimize sales strategies and enhance customer experience.
- Market Demand Generation: Partner with marketing and channel teams to execute demand-generation campaigns and events.
- Industry Engagement: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand presence.
- 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience in cybersecurity, networking, observability, or a related field, preferably in IT, software, or technology solutions.
- Experience working with large SLED Agencies, particularly State Government Agencies, R1 Universities, and Complex City/County Governments
- Ability to build and execute their business plan and go-to-market approach.
- Channel Development and Partnership, especially with local and regional channel partners
- Technologist and Advisor, partner with customers on multi-threaded, phased, multi-year solutions
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, Clari, and other sales tools
- A bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed and provide proof of driver’s insurance.
