An organized and resourceful individual to lead and drive the (PLM) Product Lifecycle Management system in Arena and assist with compliance and regulatory documentation. As a senior administrator you will manage the PLM environment, provide daily support to the user base and assist in the implementation of various PLM modules with a goal of continuous improvement You will respond to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment, will be self-directed to drive day-to-day operations, and recommend and manage improvement initiatives. You must be able to manage rapid changes, prioritize and track deliverables, implement new configuration management, administer user privileges, and develop control processes.
 
 
What you’ll do:  
  • Manage the administrator role for the PLM system for all users.
  • Work cross-functionally with managers and employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Program Manager, Operation Program Manager, Product Management, Customer Success, and Hardware Engineering teams to manage the day-to-day functional requirements of the PLM system.
  • Create and manage configuration rules and BOM structure standards.
  • Manage ECO, MCO, deviation and purge notifications in Arena.
  • Host a weekly CCB meeting with all stakeholders to review changes.
  • Implement, update, and enforce policies for BOM creation and activities related to PLCM.
  • Provide technical support, process enforcement, and training to internal and external users.
  • Manage the existing PLM setup and modify configurations as required by evolving business processes.
  • Assist in the creation of  BOM's (Bill of Materials) part numbers, ensure data accuracy and archive related documentation.
  • Interface with suppliers to support requests for regulatory compliance and component specifications documentation.
 
 
What you’ve done:  
  • 6 plus years of hands on experience managing a PLM function, preferably in Arena.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience.
  • Experience with supporting the PLM function in a manufacturing environment for complex hi-tech systems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and respond positively to changing requirements.

  • Ability to collaborate closely with other functional areas and drive key decisions related to PLM functions.
  • Willingness to work across time zones to collaborate with global teams in a 24/7 environment.
