We are recruiting for an exceptional Engineering Project Manager (Developer Services) to work out of our Phoenix corporate office. This individual will primarily be responsible for reviewing and approving master water/wastewater plans, basis of design reports, and engineering drawings for new developments to ensure conformance with Company standards. This work requires frequent communication with developers, engineers, operators, and regulators.

Key Responsibilities include:

· Assist as engineering technical advisor to plan reviewers for review of water distribution and wastewater collection plans.

· Draft and publish regular updates of engineering design criteria and engineering details.

· Draft, review, and administer master development/utility agreements and main extension agreements.

· Understand and administer utility tariffs, administrative rules and regulations.

· Interact with regulatory agencies and manage programs to obtain permits, certifications and approvals for projects and programs (MAG 208, Certificates of Convenience and Necessity, etc.).

· Review water modeling design assumptions and output reports.

· Draft letters and create submittal packages to regulatory agencies.

· Interact with operations staff and understand how various water/wastewater systems operate.

· Manage the delivery of developer-funded water/wastewater projects through all aspects of engineering design, permitting, procurement, construction and commissioning.

· Manage and administer engineering consultant and construction contracts, along with providing direction as necessary to maintain project budgets and scheduled delivery dates.

Requirements include:

· 4-year degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

· 6 years minimum experience of engineering experience.

· Knowledge of engineering, project management, and construction/operation of water/wastewater facilities and infrastructure.

· Professional Engineer registration in the State of Arizona.

· Solid understanding of current trends and technology for water/wastewater conveyance and treatment systems.

· ADEQ operator certification and experience with reviewing and approving civil/mechanical engineering plans are a plus.

· General understanding of industry safety regulations, as well as federal, state and county water quality and design regulations and technical standards.

· Ability to exercise independent judgement, show initiative, and work well independently and as part of a team.

· Excellent Microsoft Office skills including spreadsheets, presentation, and scheduling software.
