Continuous Improvement Specialist

The Continuous Improvement Specialist is responsible for driving process efficiency and productivity improvements across the organization by applying LEAN principles and methodologies. This role involves analyzing production and operational processes, leading improvement initiatives, training employees, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure sustainable performance improvements and optimal use of resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve new and existing LEAN methods
Conduct internal LEAN training for employees
Review and analyze process flows, identifying areas for improvement
Monitor efficiency and productivity through regular measurements and performance tracking
Analyze operational data and statistics to identify performance improvement opportunities and optimize resource utilization
Ensure compliance with workflows and optimal use of equipment according to production schedules and processes defined by production technologists
Maintain and develop visual management tools and systems within the production facility
Collaborate with colleagues across departments to implement continuous improvement initiatives
Lead and coordinate continuous improvement project teams.
 
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (preferred)
Previous experience in continuous improvement, quality management, production process management, or a similar role (preferred)
Strong knowledge of LEAN philosophy, principles, and methodologies
Practical experience applying LEAN methods, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Structured and systematic approach to task execution.
 
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully at all organizational levels to support process improvements
Very good Latvian and English language skills; English is required for daily communication with management and business partners
Proficiency in MS Office applications
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
