Production Supervisor (DNEG Animation)
Description
- Strategic Leadership and Team Management: Provide clear direction, build a positive team culture, and foster collaboration within the department.
- Expert Production Management: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the production pipeline, utilize tools effectively, and produce accurate and timely reports.
- Critical Scheduling and Resource Allocation: Develop and maintain efficient schedules, manage department resources, and partner with clients to optimize staffing.
- Effective Communication and Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships, communicate clearly and concisely, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Problem Solving and Decision Making: Analyze complex issues, make informed decisions, and implement solutions that drive project success.
- Continuous Improvement: Seek feedback, identify opportunities for improvement, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Financial Management: Collaborate with producers to manage budgets, estimate resources, and optimize cost-efficiency.
- Proven project management experience – from concept to completion
- Proven experience in the animation industry, including production experience on traditional 2D and 3D projects
- Proven ability to prioritise workload and meeting deadlines
- Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills
- Experience with Shotgun
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word & Google Suite
- Experience in database work
- Experience in managing artists and clients
- Knowledge of FTP software
- Aptitude for learning new software
- HTML / Wiki skills
- Knowledge of Filemaker
- Overseas animation experience
