Strategy Analyst

Summary/Objective
The Strategy Analyst is responsible for improving organizational efficiency by analyzing, streamlining, and optimizing business processes in partnership with senior leaders.

- Examine existing workflows and identify improvement opportunities, help with the implementation of these changes, monitor outcomes against expected results, and refine models or strategies in case expectations are not met.
- Partner with key stakeholders on existing and emerging workflow enhancement initiatives.
- Implementing data collection strategies, ensuring data quality, and preparing data for analysis
- Implementing business strategies by partnering with key stakeholders to build out tools for frontline use.
- Support the development and management of databases for reporting and analysis
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management and key stakeholders
- Analyze operational or management reports or records
- Identify financial risks (and opportunities) to company
- Compile data for financial reports
- Analyze financial data
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, etc. required.
- 3+ years of experience preferred. Advanced degree can be considered in lieu of additional years of experience.
- Must be a creative problem solver.

- Must have comfort with data management tools (including development and maintenance) for example Access, SAS, SPSS, SQL, and Excel.
- Experience leveraging business intelligence software suites such as Microsoft PowerBI or Tableau.
- Must have superior verbal and written communication, presentation, time management, negotiation, typing, and data entry skills.
- Excellent project management skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to clearly explain technical and analytical information (verbally, written and presentation form) and summarize for key stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively handle concurrent, aggressive assignments / multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Proven presentation skills, business acumen, and ability to effectively communicate across functions.
- Prefer knowledge of new account origination policies, procedures, and processes.
- Prefer knowledge of collection policies, procedures, and processes.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. The daily schedule may vary from 8 am to 5 pm or 9 am to 6 pm. Hours may vary or exceed 40 in any given week depending on the needs of the business.
Travel
Up to 5% travel may be required for this position.
