Team Lead, Repo and Recovery

Summary/Objective
The Team Lead for Specialty Operations will help transition new associates into the department through coaching, supervision, and additional training. This position will also be responsible for producing and reviewing manual letters, researching accounts, processing deceased accounts, and working accounts identified as cease and desist or SCRA. Additionally, the Team Lead will be responsible for working and managing control reports.
Essential Functions

- Assists agents in transition from training to a live environment.
- Assists in answering account questions with associates
- Conducts coaching side by sides to identify areas of deficiency or strength.
- Holds knowledge sessions to assure clarity and content of training materials.
- Could fill in for a supervisor temporarily while on PTO.
- Could assist in side by side and coaching opportunities for larger groups within a supervisor’s span of control.
- Works multiple reports through RDN, RMS, and Spectrum.
- Communication with agents/departments when issues are identified to ensure corrections required are completed and that corrective actions defined and maintained.
- Documenting activities, findings, resolutions, etc. to ensure a record of issues is maintained.
- Work directly with repossession vendors and auctions.
- Send and upload appropriate documents and forms.
- Review system codes to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Acts as a backup for letter grading, when needed.
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience applicable to the department
- Demonstrates excellent communication, leadership and coaching abilities
- Proven demonstration of professionalism
- Strong organizational skills
- Must possess the ability to multi-task
- Ability to research and provide summary level notes
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday with some schedule variations as needed.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
