ZoomCare is seeking an Area Manager to join our team! The Area Manager is responsible for leading a team of Clinic Associates (ZAs)/Medical Assistants (MAs) to deliver the best-in-class patient experience. The Area Manager will optimize and drive clinic performance for their assigned clinics. by leading their team in the daily operations of the clinic. The Area Manager will spend a majority of their time in clinics providing coaching and feedback based on observed behavior, patient feedback and performance metrics.

- Drive operational and financial performance including profit and loss, strategy development/deployment, and creation/execution of the operational playbook for all zones or facilities within the product line.
- Act as player/coach to mentor and lead a team of clinic staff. In addition to financial performance, you will have the opportunity to ensure the delivery of a beautiful experience for our patients and motivate and develop clinic associates.
- Manages and establishes key performance indicators for the assigned district that influence clinic work flow efficiency, visit volumes, and the patient experience.
- Drives business priorities and change readiness by creating an engaged and high performing team focused on execution.
- Play a key role in delighting Zoomers by translating our brand principles into tangible experiences from attracting to engaging to retaining. You’ll drive all facets of the overall user experience, inspire our teams and customers with bold, innovative and customer-centric ideas.
- Represent the needs of their team back to the leadership team in a concise and effective manner.
- Assess team member needs for scope of role, development needs, succession planning and clinic outcomes; create and promote development plans accordingly.
- Provides monthly analysis of workflows and clinic efficiencies related to delivery of the perfect visit and resource management.
- Oversees the facilities inventory management for each clinic in their area.
- Manage team performance and compliance with federal, state, and local laws in addition to company policies and processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, or related field, preferred.
- 1+ years of management experience required, 3+ years, preferred.
- 3+ years of retail or customer service leadership, preferably in healthcare.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate to business partners.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven success managing a team of over 10 people.
- Proven success managing business results and metrics.
- Strong character demonstrating a high degree of flexibility and resilience.
- Ability to coach a team to achieve specific outcomes.
- Proficient in Adobe, Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Slack or related software and an ability to quickly learn new technology systems.
- Vaccinated against COVID-19, Hepatitis B., MMR, PPD, Varicella (Chickenpox), and TD/TDAP.
- Valid State issued non-commercial class driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Ability to travel between and visit clinics for a majority of the work week, required.

- Salary Range: $90,000 - $95,000 dependent on experience
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Project timelines and work volume/deadlines may often require more than your scheduled hours per week or work outside of regular business hours to complete essential duties of this position.
- Prolonged periods of standing/sitting and working at a computer.
- Must wear a company-approved mask as needed.
- Fit tested for an N95 mask, must be clean shaven where the respirator seals to the face for fit testing or when wearing the respirator.
- Must reside in the Portland or Seattle area and be able to travel to clinics weekly.
