ZoomCare is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our team! As a member of our team, you’ll work alongside a dynamic group of Board Certified Emergency Physicians, Imaging Technologists, and Associates, delivering superior imaging services in a new, modern clinic equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

- Apply independent, professional, ethical judgment, and critical thinking to safely perform diagnostic sonography procedures.
- Review patient medical history and supporting clinical information.
- Apply independent judgment during the sonography examination to ensure that appropriate anatomical, pathological, and clinical conditions are accurately captured in the examination images.
- Review examination images, synthesize examination results, and prepare the preliminary findings.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA) and facility policies, and procedures.
- Provide preliminary reports of sonography examinations for use by the interpreting physician.
Assist with the daily operation of the sonography facility.
Perform quality control procedures to ensure that the ultrasound equipment operates at optimal levels. - Exercise responsibility to ensure that the ultrasound equipment is functioning accurately.
Assume responsibility for the preventive maintenance program for ultrasound equipment. - Operate the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
- Exercise responsibility for the maintenance and accuracy of facility reports, database records, and logs.
- Ensure that the sonography examination results meet the facility standards for Quality Assurance before findings are released for interpretation.
- Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers, administrators, and members of the health care team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate from a CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in: Abdomen and OB/GYN or willingness to obtain registry within 12 months of hire
- Minimum of 2 years experience in general sonography with limited OB and various vascular studies
- State license holder
- Current approved CPR card
- Must be willing to float between multiple clinics
- Must be available for on-call
- Strongly Preferred: Registry in Vascular Technology

- Hourly Pay Rate: $48-$56 dependent on experience
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Vaccinated against COVID-19

- Fit tested for an N-95 mask, must be clean shaven where the respirator seals to the face for fit testing or when wearing the respirator (clinic roles only).
