ZoomCare is seeking a Director of Learning and Development to join our team! The Director of Learning and Development is responsible for leading the strategic design, implementation, and evaluation of talent development programs that strengthen employee knowledge, skills, and abilities. The Director leads a team responsible for identifying training needs based on skills gap analyses, developing group and individual in-person and virtual training, managing the learning management system, and overseeing the training budget.

- Develop and implement a strategic plan for talent development that aligns with company objectives; assess current competencies, identify skill gaps, and forecast future needs.
- Partner with departmental leadership to understand their training needs, tailor programs accordingly, and ensure cohesive talent development efforts across the organization.
- Design, develop, and oversee the execution of training curricula that caters to different roles within the organization; onboarding, leadership development, compliance training, technical skills training, career paths, etc.
- Continuously assess and improve learning programs based on feedback and KPIs; utilize various assessment tools to measure learning outcomes and adjust programs, as needed.
- Leverage modern, adult learning technologies and platforms to enhance the accessibility and effectiveness of training programs.
- Develop and facilitate individual and group training programs, both virtually and in-person, to meet both business needs and employee career development goals.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of training materials, including presentations, videos, workshops, etc.; ensure company initiatives are incorporated into training materials to reinforce processes and protocols.
- Manage the budget allocated for learning and development activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maximizing the impact of allocated resources.
- Ensure training programs align with compliance requirements and are tracked appropriately.
- Stay current on industry trends, training methodologies, and emerging best practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in adult education, organizational development, learning development, communication, human resources or a related field, master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of learning and development experience, 5+ years of leadership experience, and 2+ years of healthcare experience.
- Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM), or a comparable credential, preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methodologies.
- Proven track record developing and implementing successful training programs.
- Strategic thinker with innovative problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and translate insights into action plans.
- Proficient with Google Suite, MS Office, Cornerstone, LinkedIn Learning, Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360, and other related applications, preferred.

- Salary Range: $155-$170k
- Bonus eligibility: 20%
- Other Compensation: May be eligible for other compensation such as bonuses
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Project timelines and work volume / deadlines may often require more than your scheduled hours per week or work outside of regular business hours to complete essential duties of this job.
- Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment.
- Ability to adjust focus between close and distance vision.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
- Position is a hybrid of remote and ability to travel to clinic locations in the Portland/Vancouver and Seattle markets. Must reside in either Washington or Oregon state.
- Willing to wear a mask as needed when visiting clinics.
