ZoomCare is seeking an Emergency Clinic Associate to join our team! The Emergency Clinic Associate is responsible for delivering a consistent "Perfect Visit" experience at ZoomCare Super (Emergency Room Alternative). This includes scheduling appointments, updating medical records, checking patients in and out for appointments, performing blood draws, placing IVs, processing labs, and maintaining inventory.

Monday through Wednesday: 7:45 AM - 8:15 PM
OR
Thursday through Saturday: 7:45 AM - 8:15 PM

  • Check patients in and out for appointments.
  • Schedule new appointments as needed.
  • Process patient payments.
  • Educate patients on how to navigate their ZoomCare medical record.
  • Maintain patient demographic and insurance information.
  • Perform blood draws and finger sticks while adhering to all written laboratory standards.
  • Process collected specimens and document results.
  • Maintain supply inventory; order, receive, and store supplies.
  • Work with and maintain basic medical equipment.
  • Provide emergency care to patients when necessary.
  • Ensure the clinic remains clean and neat.
  • Provide routine procedural and/or exam support to the provider.
  • Place IVs when directed by a medical provider.
  • Complete proficiency testing in the on-site laboratory and maintain certification.
  • Perform electrocardiograms (EKG) when indicated.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 2 years of healthcare, customer service, or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to easily navigate a computer and learn new software.
  • Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Active BLS for Healthcare Providers certification or the ability to obtain it.
  • Must be able to obtain a phlebotomy license within 6 months of hire; equivalent licensure or training experience preferred.

  • Hourly Pay Rate: $22.50-$23.50
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Frequent walking, sitting, standing, and reaching overhead.
  • Occasional crouching, kneeling, and bending.
  • Prolonged periods working at a desk and on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
  • Fit tested for an N-95 mask; must be clean-shaven where the respirator seals to the face for fit testing or when wearing the respirator.
  • Must wear a mask as needed.
