QMS Administrator I - Training
Description
SEWS — Farmington Hills, Michigan Office. Although located at SEWS – Farmington Hills Office, this is a Hybrid position, which combines both in office and off-site work. Associates are required to work at least four days in the office each week, but also have the flexibility to work off-site.
Basic Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to support the Value Chain Integration team with training and project completion for the North American Business Unit.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and support training schedule.
- Create, maintain and complete training on template-set for training modules (e.g., 1-pager, eLearning, Microsoft Teams, in-person, etc.)
- Use ISD (Instructional Systems Design) to deploy training materials, facilitate actual training and assess training needs for North American Business Unit.
- Ensure consistency, accuracy and quality of content.
- File, organize, and maintain documents for internal and external customers.
- Communicate with technical and manufacturing experts to gain understanding of products, including appropriate use and safety, to create complete and accurate documentation.
- Have strong communication skill-set balancing expectation and empathy within the diverse working culture of Sumitomo.
- Facilitate assigned VCI projects, create and maintain collaborative environment, meeting scheduling, workbook update accuracy and reporting of project progress to senior management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree along with 1-3 years progressive engineering experience.
- Documented training experience required.
- Adobe Captivate software acumen required.
- Proven experience with MS Office including Outlook, MS Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated exemplary writing and proofing skills with an excellent communication skill-set.
- Manufacturing or engineering experience is strongly preferred.
