Description
Position at First Sumiden Circuits, Inc.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Preferably a licensed engineer.
- With a least (3) years of experience in ESH systems development and implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
- DOLE Accredited Safety Practitioner or Consultant
- Accredited Pollution Control Officer.
- Familiarity with ESH software platforms and data analytics tools.
- Experience with ISO standards and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership, effective communication skills
- Key Job Functions
- Compliance and Regulatory Management: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, NEA). This includes managing environmental permits (air, water, waste) and acting as the site liaison for regulatory agencies.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct complex Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP), and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) to minimize risk.
- EHS System Management: Develop and maintain the site-specific EHS management system (ISO 14001/45001).
- Auditing and Inspection: Perform regular audits, inspections, and Industrial Hygiene (IH) monitoring (noise, chemical exposure).
- Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into accidents, near-misses, and root cause analysis, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Training and Culture Development: Conduct safety training programs to foster a strong safety culture and provide technical expertise to employees.
- Project Management: Lead ESH improvement projects and support engineering/maintenance teams in implementing Process Safety Management (PSM) elements.
