Manager, Global Partner Operations

The Global Partner Operations Manager will be a key role in supporting field partner sales in delivering operational excellence with systems, processes, and policies working in collaboration with internal stakeholder departments around partner programs, finance, legal, and IT. 

For success in this role, you will build effective working relationships across organizational boundaries in executing on methodologies that will enable stakeholders to achieve their short and long-term objectives as it relates to partner sales revenues, profit and market development.  We're looking for someone who is not only passionate about tactically executing upon the day-to-day functions of the Qlik partner operations, but also enjoys driving change and innovation with an opportunity to leverage their strengths to drive genuine business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Work with multiple internal and external stakeholders in providing systems and processes that add value by increasing sale productivity through our partners
  • Monitor Qlik internal Partner with the IT/systems teams to refine customer and partner relationship management and financial system design and processes to drive partner autonomy and ease of doing business with Qlik
  • Coordinate project activities around implementation and enhancement for key partner operations systems including Channel Incentive Management, Partner Relationship Management, and financial accruals and reconciliation
  • Facilitate operational process performance and channel sales compliance reporting through a combination of spreadsheet and Qlik Sense based outputs working with finance and channel analyst team members
  • Identify and analyze trends or patterns with the ability to display and articulate recommendations in a manner that informs the intended audience
  • Monitor the sales and partner organization’s compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM/PRM data. Influence/Referrals/CoSell Deal Administration and husbandry
  • Salesforce administration assistance to team members with support for permission sets, data extractions, process guidance etc.
  • Administration of Qlik payments to partners and vendors (setting up POs, et al)
  • Respond to internal operational issues (resolve, re-direct, escalate) and questions around operational process and policy
  • Responsible for overseeing operational processes & procedures to ensure that core business operations are running smoothly & efficiently.

Competencies and skills:

The skills and qualifications required for this role:

  • Demonstrated project management proficiency
  • Experience with Qlik Sense, or similar BI tool, with advanced level skillset in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to collaborate and develop positive business relationships with all cross-functional areas within Qlik and with peers
  • Experience with Qlik Sense, or similar BI tool, with advanced level skillset in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce including report configuration
  • Must have demonstrated strong attention to detail and ability to dig into the numbers to identify key insights
  • A self-starter with ability to move fast, multi-task and drive results, while being self-sufficient within a matrix organization
  • Demonstrate a high emotional intelligence and diverse cultural understanding with strong self-awareness
  • A personable and well-rounded team player who has excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a strong will to succeed
  • Flexibility to move between detailed tactical task and longer-term project management

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in partner or sales operations within a software or channel driven business
  • Experience with a BI, Analytics, and/or Data Integrations company developing solutions or services including Cloud (SaaS)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Worked successfully in a matrix management environment
  • English language fluency
  • Worked within a high growth or environment of change where a flexible approach is key to success
