Vocational Specialist

About your Role:
As a Vocational/Individual Placement & Support Specialist you will work as a member of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team, serving as a critical component of care to adults with severe mental illness. You will work with a team to assess each client’s situation and help them succeed in achieving their educational goals providing training and skills education to aid the client in gaining and maintaining employment to be able to successfully remain integrated with the friends, family, and community. You will also work to link clients to employers and continue to track their progress and help navigate challenges as they arise. Helping to determine their financial support and link the client to necessary services in the community to assist with their goal of employment. This opportunity includes client transportation using a company car, as needed and a one week on-call rotation every 7-10 weeks.

Does the following apply to you?
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Rehabilitation Counseling preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience training or supervised work in vocational rehabilitation and support
