As our Lead Family Time Visitation Facilitator, you will manage program administrative duties related to scheduling and support of staff in Family Time Services.  In addition to fulfilling Lead roles, you will also directly work with families.  Families involved in this program have children removed from the home and into the child welfare system due to allegations of abuse and/or neglect.  During these supervised visits, you will utilize a trauma informed lens to provide engaging parenting skills training, psycho-education aimed towards increasing a family’s bond, and in the moment re-direction and parent coaching in order to promote the safe and successful reunification of families. You will be an advocate for the families, setting goals with the assistance of the caseworker and families, documenting progress, reporting any concerns of alleged abuse/neglect, testifying in court as needed, and providing transportation if required by the referral. You will assist with scheduling and monitoring of the program as a whole, reporting to the Family Time Program Coordinator. This position will spend the majority of it’s hours supporting the Baby Den, which is a group Family Time program designed to ensure that parents and infants can maximize their bonding time together after an infant has been removed from the home.

  • $21.25 per hour - $22.25 per hour (dependent on education level)

Do the Following Apply to You? 
  • Required: Minimum Bachelors in a Human Service field (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, etc)
  • 1 year of experience working with children and families, preferably those involved in the child welfare system.
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record, current auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle for client transportation
  • Preferred:
    • Organized and able to independently maintain your schedule
    • Experience working with kids, crisis intervention and conflict resolution, and knowledge of child development and the child welfare system
    • Experience using Excel spreadsheets
