Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking Emergency Veterinarians to join our team as Traveling Emergency Veterinarians.
  
The Travel ER veterinarian role provides the best of both worlds, combining the flexibility and great travel options of an independent relief veterinarian with the stability and safety of a full-time position with outstanding, industry leading benefits!  Our Travel Veterinarians are awarded all the benefits of full-time staff members!  
Qualifications:   
  • 3 or more years of ER Experience or ER Internship trained + 1 to 2 years of ER Experience. 
Hours of work:  
  • Full-time position: to meet the minimum requirements to qualify for full-time benefits our travel veterinarians are obligated to an average minimum of 9 shifts/4week block. Lowest shift minimum in the industry for FT benefits! 
  • Part-time position: no minimum shift requirements. No additional benefits other than compensation as listed below as well as coverage for travel.  For those with agreed-upon shift requirements that are less than what qualifies for full-time benefits, limited benefits options are available and are defined on a case-by-case basis depending upon the number of shifts committed.

Scheduling:   

Scheduling of shifts shall be managed by the National Director of Emergency Services (or other authorized agent) and will occur a minimum of one month prior to the time of shift.  The shift schedule will be discussed with each Travel Veterinarian prior to finalizing.  Any shifts more than the agreed-upon minimum are optional and will be paid at the same per/shift rate.   
 
Compensation:  
  • Competitive compensation
  • Shift/Pro Model ( Above industry ER production %)
  • Typical earnings from $200,000 annually to $300,000+ annually.
