Role Responsibilities: 
  • Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients. 
  • With each hospital function,assistveterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity andmaintainpositive patient flow. 
  • Assistwith surgeries and proceduresin accordance withyour state's Veterinary Practice Act outlined for credentialed veterinary technicians. 
  • Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and take histories. 
  • Assistinmaintainingrelevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems. 
  • Obtain relevant health history and information from clients andmaintainmedical charts. 
  • Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs. 
  • Be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members. 
Experience & Skills Requirements:   
  • At least 2-year experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Technician 
    • Emergency Experience a plus. 
    • CPR Experience (RECOVER Certified) is a plus. 
  • Superior customer service 
  • Self-motivated 
  • Team player 
Compensation: Compensation base pay for relief starts at our Green Badge level of $25/per hour – and can be increased through skill testing.  
 
All levels green badge and up qualify for differential options:  
Overnight: Any time clocked between 10p to 8am is an additional $2 per hour. 
Weekend: Any time clocked between Fri at 6pm to Monday at 8am is an additional $3. 
Differentials do stack.  
 
Our Hours of Operations: 
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 6pm to 8am (overnight) 
  Shift Times: 6pm to 12a and 11:30p to 8a 
Friday Open 6pm through Monday at 8am (24 hours) 
  Shift Times: 8a to 4:30p, 4:30p to 1a, 11:30p to 8a 
24/Hours on all Major Holidays.
