About the role

Student Administration at the University of Notre Dame provides expertise, service and operational support to students across a broad range of student administration, student service and key regulatory, policy and compliance functions that support the academic decisions of the Faculties, Schools and other relevant departments at the University. The position reports to the Senior Team Leader Student Administration providing national support across campuses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and action applications for Advanced Standing and Retroactive Withdrawals (Remissions) according to University and Government policy, ensuring all related student record changes are accurate.
  • Support the enrolment process by providing friendly, prompt and accurate advice to students and other staff over the phone, in person and via email.
  • Assist with other Student Administration work as needed including resolving escalated enrolment enquiries and student record data changes.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders on Student Administration related functions and provide advice related to areas of expertise particularly enrolment, Advanced Standing and Retroactive Withdrawals (Remissions).

Qualifications, skills & experience

  • Completion of an undergraduate qualification and or relevant work experience in higher education work environment.
  • Demonstrate experience in academic award for enrolment and progression and legislative environment (HESA, ESOS and CRISCO).
  • Able to collaborate and work with teams to achieve core objectives.
  • Demonstrated communication skills and ability to work in teams to achieve project outcomes.
  • Demonstrated excellence in exceptional customer service skills in managing high numbers of enquiries, utilising problem-solving skills to provide information and advice.
  • Proven ability to work independently and with others in a busy fast-paced team with the ability to adapt to a constantly changing work environment.
