ER doctors and specialists will work together to provide a comprehensive experience for clients and their pets
- Facilitate the MedVet onboarding and training process for new Clinical Services team members
- Deliver new hire orientation and site-based general onboarding
- Support skills-based training for clinical procedures, either directly or by coordinating with subject matter experts
- Gather feedback and recommendations from trainers, mentors, and leadership during onboarding
- Maintain accurate training files and track onboarding progress for all new Clinical Services team members
- Plan, execute, and track ongoing education for Clinical Services team members
- Facilitate annual mandatory training (e.g., OSHA, Radiation Safety)
- Deliver training and communication for new medications, equipment, and clinical protocols
- Identify and respond to training needs through direct observation and collaboration with hospital leaders
- Support development and delivery of site-specific and organizational training initiatives
- Coordinate student externships and observer programs
- Serve as liaison for veterinary technician programs and students onsite
- Maintain schedules, documentation, and evaluation processes for student experiences
- Provide direct patient care within assigned department(s)
- Use clinical time to observe team workflows, identify gaps, and guide training priorities
- Model MedVet’s standards for patient care, communication, and teamwork
- Veterinary Technician Credential required (RVT, CVT, LVT)
- Emergency and/or Specialty experience required
- Able to balance administrative responsibilities with direct patient care
- Demonstrates initiative, critical thinking, and strong problem-solving skills
- Effective communicator with strong collaboration and coaching skills
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and able to learn industry-specific software
- Organized and self-directed, with a proactive approach to training and development
