Rehabilitation Veterinarian
Description
MedVet Akron is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Rehabilitation Veterinarian to join our growing team. This position will be part time.
This role is well suited for a DVM who is excited to partner with local leadership to shape department development, strengthen culture, and promote collaboration across specialties and care teams.
The ideal candidate will take an active role in advancing rehabilitation medicine within the hospital and will be comfortable helping define how the service integrates into the broader specialty and emergency care environment.
Key Attributes We Are Seeking
- Demonstrated interest in department improvement and long-term service growth
- Strong collaboration skills across specialties and with nursing and support teams
- Comfort taking ownership of the rehabilitation service and advocating for its role within the hospital
- Openness to a flexible staffing model, which may include more than one part-time DVM, such as a primary Rehabilitation DVM and a Chiropractic-focused DVM

- Certified Animal Chiropractor (CAC)
- Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA)
