MedVet Northern Utah is excited to announce we are searching for a 2nd veterinary criticalist (or residency-trained individual) to join the established Critical Care team at our 24/7 Emergency and Multi-Specialty hospital in Sunset, Utah. We provide a collaborative atmosphere and a team-oriented approach to patient care. The healthcare team includes great clinical services team members (our well-trained technicians) and medical leaders who understand what it takes to build a thriving organization.

  • In addition to 24/7 emergency services, we offer specialty services in Critical Care, Surgery, Radiology, and Cardiology. We also train new ER doctors through our profession-leading, year-long Emergency Clinician Mentorship Program.
  • In April 2020, we moved into our completely new 15,000-square-foot hospital. The hospital is staffed 24 hours a day with a highly trained ICU nursing team and is equipped with on-site digital radiology, point-of-care ultrasound, CT, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, high-flow oxygen, in-house lab equipment, and telemetry.
  • The doctors, technicians, and team at MedVet Northern Utah work hard to maintain a collaborative and supportive environment that encourages our doctors' growth and provides excellent care to our patients, clients, and referring veterinarians.
  • Work seamlessly alongside other ER doctors and specialists at our MedVet Salt Lake City hospital, just 35 minutes south of MedVet Northern Utah. With this collaboration, we can offer our patients all the advanced diagnostics and treatments, including MRI, plasma apheresis, and radiation therapy.
