What you’ll do

  • Translate organizational needs into scalable learning programs.
  • Identify current and future skill gaps.
  • Design, implement and oversee core learning programs (onboarding, leadership development, skill building, compliance) utilizing a variety of training methods, ensuring they are tailored to meet company goals.
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of learning programs (planning, scheduling, facilitation, logistics, evaluation).
  • Ensure learning experiences are engaging, inclusive, and accessible (virtual, in-person, blended)
  • Facilitate or co-facilitate workshops and sessions as needed.
  • Engage as a presenter and/or host of various learning programs, sessions and workshops.
  • Lead, coach, manage and develop L&D team member(s) (e.g., coordinators, instructional designers, facilitators)
  • Set goals, provide feedback, and support professional growth of direct reports
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on employee development and performance
  • Communicate learning initiatives clearly and effectively across the organization.
  • Escalate and resolve issues that require judgment, prioritization, or influence.
  • Define success metrics and evaluate learning impact using data and feedback.
  • Develop reports and insights to demonstrate ROI and inform decision-making.
  • Continuously improve processes, programs, and learner experience.

What you bring

          Bachelor’s degree in education, business, Human Resources, communications, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.

          7+ years’ experience in learning and development, operations training, or talent development leadership.  ATD or SHRM certification is preferred.

          Strong organizational and project management skills.

          Deep understanding of adult learning principles, facilitation standards, learning evaluation methodologies, and creation of learning materials.

          Knowledge of current L&D trends, evolving tools, and techniques.

          Strategic and hands-on – comfortable managing programs, people, and stakeholders, while also diving into analysis, facilitation, and continuous improvement.

          Proven experience in public speaking.

          Exceptional interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.

          Exceptional facilitation skills.

          Experience with learning management systems and virtual facilitation tools.

          Familiarity with content creation tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond, etc.)

          Leadership and team management skills with a focus on coaching and developing others.
