Senior Consultant, Leadership Development Programs

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help LHH Knightsbridge leverage our strong brand and continue to drive growth in Canada within the Leadership Development space. As a member of the Talent & Leadership Development team you will be accountable for delivering winning leadership development strategies and programs to achieve desired strategic outcomes.  You will work collaboratively with clients and colleagues through all design and development phases using a combination of proven and custom-built content.  You may also facilitate in-person and/or virtually.  You will utilize your experience with innovative, robust, multi-module programs that effectively leverage technology to guide and enhance a leader’s developmental journey.

Major Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

      Analyze changing needs of customers and the industry, identifying and anticipating trends

      Act as the leadership development subject matter expert in partnership with our Consulting and Business Development teams to scope leadership development solutions

      Prepare effective proposals and presentations for business development purposes, primarily focused on multiple level leadership development programs and other leadership solutions

      Respond to and addresses inquiries from customers regarding current engagements

      Accountable for hands-on design, development, implementation, and maintenance of leadership programs from executive level to front-line

      Design new programming based on specific client requirements or LHH Knightsbridge thought leadership

      Develop leadership development programs using a variety of different mediums including classroom, virtual and simulation

      Contribute to thought leadership and research to recommend leading edge ideas and creative approaches to leadership development


Required Experience/Characteristics

      Master’s Degree preferred in a related field or the equivalent of 10+ years of Leadership Development Design and Consulting Experience

      Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

      Excellent facilitation and instructional/program design skills

      Highly-developed interpersonal skills; forthright and engaging with low-ego

      Able to link strategic drivers of client organization to leadership development solutions

      Ability to build strong relationships and confidently influence internal and external stakeholders

      Adaptable and collaborative team player who can work independently when needed

      Embraces change and ambiguity; flexible and open to new ideas

      Thoroughness and attention to detail, producing high quality of work; always meets commitments and delivers results

      Creativity in designing programs and working sessions; shares and leverages experiences and leading practices/insights from across multiple clients

      Energetic, passionate and possessing a sense of urgency

      Demonstrated presence and ability to work with senior leaders

      Resilient and resourceful; excels at managing complexity and multiple (at times competing) priorities

      Sound knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and methods of evaluation

      Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and other digital technologies

      Experience with Adobe programs (e.g. Photoshop, Flash, InDesign, Illustrator) is an asset

      Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
