Partner, Executive Search (Knightsbridge)

To support our growth mandate, Knightsbridge is currently looking to add a Partner to the team.  The Partner will be responsible for proactively identifying, securing and managing client relationships that will allow the firm to increase its market share in executive search and other practice areas.  The successful individual will join a high functioning team of search colleagues, as well as professionals in other practice areas representing our full breadth of Human Capital Solutions, in developing and sustaining strong client relationships in the Canadian market.

Major Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

      Develop a list of targeted companies aligned to specific industry vertical(s) and market the LHH Knightsbridge value proposition and services.

      Develop/identity executive search opportunities.

  Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates.

      Manage multiple search assignments, delivering quality service in a timely manner.

      Establish client requirements and competencies required in each assignment.

      Interview candidates and maintain ongoing communication and follow up.

  Negotiate contracts and manage client and candidate expectations to highest standards.

      Project management, which includes allocating resources, managing projects to time, budget and quality standards, and coaching team members to ensure success.

      Work collaboratively with other colleagues across the practice and the firm.


Required Experience/Characteristics

      Undergraduate degree; MBA or related post-graduate degree an asset.

      10-15 years of professional recruitment or equivalent business/consulting experience; executive search experience at a Partner level is preferred.

      Proven ability to sell talent related consulting solutions at the most senior levels

      Proven ability to build and maintain strong consultative relationships with clients.

      Ability to conduct thorough interviews to obtain a realistic assessment of candidate accomplishments, capabilities, and potential.

      Ability to select individuals who best fit the client’s position and culture.

      Proven ability to partner and collaborate within teams and across the organization.
