The Role and Function

We are looking for a senior Learning leader - with direct experience building learning products - to head up our newly formed Learning & Strategy function. The role will assume responsibility for driving forward our product strategy and developing Ezra’s suite of commercial coaching & learning solutions

The role is critical to Ezra’s future growth as it continues to establish itself as a forward-thinking leader in the L&D sector. In addition to senior strategic leadership responsibility, the role requires a blend of thought leadership, product management, commercial strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and “hands on” operational execution to ensure maximum impact.

Key areas of focus for the function will likely include:

  • Leading our core product strategy: oversight of our suite of propositions, including both Ezra and Ezra X. You will be expected to embed L&D science into the heart of our offering, continuing to evolve our offerings to drive learning outcomes for both individual users and organizations
  • Developing future propositions: oversight of our future innovation roadmap, overseeing insight on trends, developments and opportunities in the marketplace and feedback from our customers
  • Thought leadership: establishing Ezra as the cutting-edge market leader in coaching and L&D, developing clear points of view around leadership, management, organizational development and adult learning
  • Driving our go to market strategy: responsibility for bringing to life new solutions, from ideation to testing to commercial validation to formal launch
  • Market insight: ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the Coaching and L&D market to inform our product strategy


Leadership of function

  • This is a senior leadership role, reporting directly into COO of Ezra
  • You will be responsible for leading the newly formed function, bringing our existing Impact Labs (our L&D center of excellence), Product Strategy and Solution teams under one roof.
  • You will join Ezra's Senior Leadership Team, shaping the overall strategic direction of our business
  • You will work alongside other functional leaders to ensure close alignment, collaboration and insight. In particular, key functions include:
    • Sales & Marketing: working closely our sales leaders and product marketing teams to establish feedback loops and ensure our products have "market fit"
    • Delivery: working with our customer success and coaching services functions to ensure all our products are operationally feasible
    • Technology: working closely with our tech team to ensure the technical needs of our products are met

About You

You will have:

  • 10+ years in a senior L&D role, with direct experience of scaling coaching and implementing L&D interventions in an organization
  • Direct experience successfully launching Learning Products into the market
  • Demonstrable expertise in adult learning, with backgrounds in occupational psychology and coaching (preferred)
  • Experience selling or buying B2B solutions within a large scale enterprise, preferably in the HR and talent space (preferred)
