About the role

  • Work on new consumer portable energy product development and variants through the product lifecycle.
  • Support senior engineering design concept analysis and prototype validation.
  • Work with cross-functional teams of hardware, firmware, test automation, mechanical engineers, manufacturing engineers, and procurement.
  • Design of analog and digital circuitry
  • Schematic capture and guidance of PCB layout designers (such as Allegro, OrCAD etc)
  • Component stress and reliability derating analysis
  • Prototype PCBA debugging, design correction on test bench
  • Provide technical guidance to DVT test engineers.

Who you are and what you bring:  

 

  • BE/B.Tech or MS in Electrical Engineering or related field + 4 to 8 years’ experience
  • Knowledge of circuit components, sourcing, and selection.
  • Knowledge of circuit schematic, PCB layout and simulation tools (such as Pspice)
  • Knowledge of common UL840 or other regulatory requirements for PCB design: pollution degree, creepage / clearance, etc.
  • Practical experience of in-depth bench testing and debugging of hardware designs.
  • Switching power supply design and layout
  • Circuit design for high-speed digital signal fidelity and low EMI emissions
  • Expertise using OrCAD Cadence circuit capture and layout.
  • Expertise using Arena PLM application for BOM management.
  • Expertise using Documentation tools like JAMA and Issue tracking tools like JIRA
  • High-volume product development support
